🏔 Ala-Kul — The Colorful Lake in the Tien Shan Mountains
Ala-Kul is a high-altitude lake at around 3,500 meters in the eastern Tien Shan, near Karakol. Its name means "colorful lake" due to the shimmering shades of its water. Accessible only by foot, it is a favorite for adventure and nature lovers.

A popular destination for multi-day trekking. The route typically takes 2–3 days. Travelers camp or stay near shepherds’ yurts. Good physical condition and proper gear are recommended.
